One of the biggest advantages for our clients is that WordPress is straightforward to manage. You can update your own content without needing to call a developer every time. Heart Digital helps our clients in two ways: building great websites and then getting them found on Google.
We have more than ten years of experience with the latter, and we build all our websites with the foundations required to be successfully found online, including the structural and content signals that AI search tools like ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews now use to surface business recommendations.

How Heart Digital works
WordPress, is primarily based on PHP, a programming language designed for the web. We also use a MySQL database to store and retrieve data and JavaScript for front-end functionality, along with HTML, CSS and AJAX as required.

It really depends on the size and complexity of your website, but in most instances it is approximately eight weeks. Woo Commerce sites may take a week or two longer.

Most projects begin with a client meeting where we gather an understanding of your goals and what type of website you’d like.
From there we move to the content gathering stage where we map out all the pages and what is required for each visually (logos, images and/or video) and for text.
Once all content is agreed upon, we build out a visual concept for your website on software called Figma. The result will look every bit like a website but it won’t be clickable or interactive. We send this through to you for your sign off.
The next step is to actually build the website, based on the approved Figma file. Once this is completed we will send a live link to you for final approval or any last minute changes. Once approved, we can send you live.
This is up to you.
Some of our clients like to write the content themselves. Others pay an additional fee for us to look after it for them.
We always recommend you invest in photography and/or video for your website. However, we can also provide access to our online image library of five million images.
Every website varies in complexity, so it does depend. But for a standard website that is uniquely coded, you would typically be looking at about $5,000+GST.
