Women's Health Clinic Solidifies Itself as Industry Leader Thanks to Exceptional SEO Results
The client faced stiff competition from fellow doctors and rival health clinics, making it a very competitive space to do business in.
Challenge
The client wished to rank has highly as possible in organic search results, for each of the services that they provided, along with search terms relating to health clinics and female GPs, both in Southport and throughout the Gold Coast.
Solution
When Heart Digital commenced working on this women’s health clinic’s SEO campaign, it was quickly discovered that crucial on-page SEO components were either missing, or not optimised correctly. This included things such as page titles, descriptions, image alt text and other fundamental SEO elements that are critical to ranking well in search engines.
Once the fundamentals had been optimised and implemented, all on-page content was reviewed and optimised to include keyword-rich headings. Along with this, all written copy was checked for grammatical and spelling mistakes. Internal links to important service pages were then added, and speed was optimised to ensure the website passed Google’s Core Web Vitals.
Many of the default images had been saved in the PNG format, resulting in excessively large files. These were easily optimised by converting them to Google’s WebP format, which drastically compressed the file sizes while still retaining their existing image quality.
Finally, to help satisfy Google’s E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness and Trustworthiness), schema was added for each doctor to their respective website profile pages.
For off-page SEO, all existing health directories for the client’s business and individual doctors were inspected, and backlinks were updated to point to the client’s website where possible. At this point, the site had a solid footing, and we were then able to concentrate on creating blog posts and sourcing quality backlinks from reputable and relevant websites, yet another way of accommodating Google’s E-E-A-T.
